Your settings live in your WordPress database. Your knowledge files are uploaded to Google Gemini under your own API key. The plugin does not store visitor conversations and does not send data anywhere else.

By default the bot is instructed to answer only using your uploaded files. If a visitor asks something off-topic, the bot redirects them politely. You can soften or harden this behavior with the System Prompt.

The AI replies in the same language the visitor writes in. The admin interface ships in English, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazilian).

Yes. The Chat texts section of the settings lists everything visitors read in the chat window: the message field, the status under the bot name, the message shown while the bot writes, the error and rate limit messages, and the labels screen readers announce for the buttons. A field left empty shows the default text, translated when the plugin includes your site language. Fill it in when your site is in a language the plugin does not include yet, or when you prefer your own wording.

The Knowledge Base table shows the state of each file: “Ready” means Google finished indexing it and the bot can search it. If a file shows “Not indexed”, delete it and upload it again.

“Gemini Flash Lite Latest” is the default and the safest choice: Google keeps it pointing to its current Flash Lite model, so it keeps working when a version is retired. When you save, the plugin sends a short test message with the selected model and refuses a model your API key cannot use, showing the reason Google gives. If a model stops working later, the chatbot answers with Gemini Flash Lite Latest and the settings page tells you which model failed and why.

No. All AI calls go directly from your server to Google Gemini under your own API key. aGo Lab does not receive any data.

Deactivate and delete from the Plugins screen. The plugin removes its options on uninstall.
