Kudos Donations: Easy Donations with Mollie & Stripe | One-off & Recurring | PDF Receipts | Buttons & Forms

Yes, Kudos Donations is a free open-source plugin.

No, we do not touch your donations.

Kudos Donations works with Mollie and Stripe. You can choose your provider in the ‘Kudos Settings’ menu and switch at any time. Donations and subscriptions made with a previous provider continue to be processed, as long as its API key stays configured.

This depends on your payment provider and the methods enabled on your account. Mollie supports a wide range of payment methods such as iDEAL, credit card and PayPal, see Mollie’s payment methods . Stripe supports cards, wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and many local payment methods, see Stripe’s payment methods .

With Mollie, recurring payments require either SEPA Direct Debit OR credit card payment methods to be enabled on your account. For more information visit this link .

With Stripe, recurring payments are available on all accounts.

If you modified your Mollie account after adding it to Kudos Donations your will need to re-sync the settings. To do this visit the Mollie tab under the settings page and click the “Refresh API” button.

Normally not. Kudos Donations registers a webhook with Stripe automatically when you save your API key. If your key does not have permission to do so (for example a restricted key), you will see a notice explaining how to add the webhook in your Stripe Dashboard and paste its signing secret into the Stripe settings.

Kudos Donations is free. Mollie and Stripe registration is free, and you only pay a small fee per transaction. See Mollie pricing and Stripe pricing for details.

Mollie is available to anyone with a registered company. Stripe is also available to individuals and sole traders in supported countries.

You can use this plugin in any country that is supported by your payment provider. See the lists of countries supported by Mollie and Stripe .

There is a handy “Copy shortcode” button at the top and bottom of the campaign edit screen that will copy the shortcode into your clipboard.

To get started add the Kudos Donations shortcode:

[kudos campaign_id="242"]

Here is a list of the shortcode attributes:

• button_label = The label to display for the button.
• campaign_id = ID of the campaign to use for this button.
• type = Whether to show as a button with pop-up or just the form. Can be “button” or “form”.
• alignment = How to align the button. Can be “left”, “right” or “center”

e.g:

[kudos button_label="Donate now" campaign_id="default" alignment="center"]
